About Us

Gap Year New Zealand is a family owned company based in North Yorkshire. All of our staff have travelled extensively in New Zealand and aim to provide the best possible service to all our participants. After completing both a Working Holiday and Internship in New Zealand Chris decided to develop this company to assist other young people and students with the opportunity to both visit and work in New Zealand.

To provide our programmes we work in partnership with Internship New Zealand who have been organising work placement programmes for over 8 years. Through an extensive network of agents throughout New Zealand they are able to find high quality placements for overseas students. They have well developed relationships with a large number of employers in a variety of sectors, have wide knowledge of employment practices and a strong base of experience in work placement.
